ComeOn Review

Like anything in the business world, it's often hard for new companies to establish themselves in an already saturated marketplace. Whilst we won't go quite as far as saying that ComeOn have managed to crack the gambling industry, we have been impressed in the amount of the progress the bookmaker has shown in a relatively short time frame.

It's tough when reviewing these younger bookmakers not to compare them to their more established counterparts. But in all honesty, it's these guys who they are up against. Whilst we will be as critical as we need to be with ComeOn, we will give them a little leeway in that they are still very much finding their feet. That being said, at the end of the day, they are in direct competition in an industry that holds no prisoners.

Sports Betting

After using ComeOn for a few years now, it's been interesting to come back and see how the bookmaker has expanded. One of the areas in which we have seen them improve is through the number of features that they offer their punters. They've gone from having not a lot going for them to a genuine alternative to some of the bigger sites. Whilst not quite up to scratch just yet, we thought it important to inform you of their continual improvement over the last couple of years that they have been running.

Betting Odds and Markets

The range of sports that are on offer are actually quite good on ComeOn. Football is without doubt their biggest sport and we dare bet that it covers over 80% of total market coverage. A big and surprising omission came in the form of horse racing of which is not featured at all. This is even more surprising considering they are UK focused site!

A refreshing change from the norm was ComeOn offering a comprehensive coverage of the US based sports. Whilst these have definitely been an area where UK bookmakers have massively improved over the years, ComeOn have a really solid range at both professional and college level for these sports.

Their odds are pretty competitive without every really being that exciting to be honest. They certainly aren't going to rob you in terms of value, but more often than not there are other bookmakers providing a stronger range of odds for comparable markets.

Mobile Betting

We spoke at the start of this review about how far ComeOn has 'come on' in the relatively short space of time it's been running and one of the areas in which they have significantly improved is that of their mobile app. It's not as polished as some, granted, but it's pretty steady in that you can access all the sports that its online count part does. The app aesthetically looks good and possibly most importantly of all, runs smoothly even off a weak signal.

Live Betting

The live betting section feels much like a work in progress part of the site. Tennis features heavily here, funnily enough, with a strong football and American sports section to accompany it. It's a positive that you can access a totally different section of the site for your live betting that includes a live counter with the time and score for each game that's on offer. The markets that you can bet on are all on display with a list of other live sports and markets down the left for your convenience.

Casino Games

Both Microgaming and NetEnt, two of the biggest software providers in the casino industry at the minute, power ComeOn casino. With this comes a plethora of games, of which we will mention below, but also a browser based version for desktop users, with no download option.

You can play games via their mobile casino app, which is accessible by entering the casino on your smartphone. As with the online version, there is no dedicated download for this just yet. You will notice that not all of the games are available on your mobile which is a little disappointing, but due to the sheer size of ComeOn’s game catalogue, there are plenty to get your teeth stuck into.

Table Games

The table games are predominantly made up of variants of both blackjack and roulette. In fact, between the two games you’ve got 18 different styles of the games to choose from. They’ve also included a comprehensive live dealer section, where you can play face to face in a live casino section. Other table games include Texas hold’em, Caribbean Stud, Baccarat, Red Dog, Pontoon and Punto Banco.

The slots section is where the affiliation with both Microgaming and NetEnt really comes into play. You have over 350 titles to choose from in the slots area with some big names such as Thunderstruck 2, Jack Hammer, Dead or Alive and EggOmatic, to name but a few.

Progressive Jackpot Games

You will be able to access about a dozen or so jackpot games at ComeOn. Whilst this doesn’t seem a particularly high number considering how many slots there are in total, however, it does provide a good range of games including Mega Moolah, Dark Knight, Mega fortune and Hall of Gods. Each of these will easily be retuning 7 figure sums for the majority of jackpot wins.

About ComeOn

ComeOn have been about since 2014 and whilst a relatively new gambling platform, have made big strides in a relatively short space of time. What you’re getting from the company is a fresh, clean and modern betting experience. Whilst the they aren’t the biggest by any means, you aren’t left feeling as though much is missing, when compared with some of the more established gambling outlets in the industry.

The company are regulated by the UK Gambling Commission so are fully fledged to offer their gambling services to all countries who accept this accreditation. Whilst the company were originally Scandinavian based, they now very much target the UK market but also still cater for players in several European Countries.

One thing that will be interesting to see about the company is if they can maintain the good work they have put in over the last couple of years. It’s often very difficult for one company to come in and become established in both casino and sports betting in such a short period of time, but this is testament to the strength and depth that they have provided throughout the bookmaker. If they do continue at this rate then they could be one to watch in a couple of years.
